SYNOPSIS

Charlie Brown is feeling down as Christmas approaches, unable to understand the joy everyone else seems to feel. After Lucy suggests he direct the neighborhood Christmas play, Charlie Brown struggles to manage the chaotic rehearsals while becoming increasingly discouraged by the holiday’s commercialism. Hoping to find the true meaning of Christmas, he chooses a small, humble tree that the other children ridicule. In a heartfelt moment, Linus reminds everyone of the spirit of the season by sharing the Christmas story from the Gospel of Luke. Inspired, the Peanuts gang comes together to transform Charlie Brown’s little tree into something beautiful, discovering that love, friendship, and kindness are what Christmas is truly about.
